Informatica Platform DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an ambitious Informatica Platform DevOps Engineer to join the Informatica Platform services team and work on different challenges. You don't have to know Informatica, if you are willing to learn it, we will help you and teach you.

Once you have acquired the missing knowledge of Informatica, you will operate as a team member in a DevOps team working on different challenges. Within the Informatica team you will grow as an Informatica platform specialist to a full Informatica DevOps engineer, who will be responsible for all Informatica tooling and all hosting of this tooling. Together with your colleagues you are responsible for the development, availability, performance and management of the Informatica environment and all aspects associated with the platform, such as OS, databases, network, security, but also automatic deployments. You work closely with your team members in optimizing and improving the current environment and on developments towards cloud technology.

The responsibilities of the Informatica platform team include:

- Provide and proactively improve the availability and stability of the platform (including monitoring in Splunk).
- Incident and problem management (active coordination, communication and contact with users).
- Change management and configuration management. The changes are executed in a structured and standardized manner.
- Handle OPS responsibilities to handle questions and configuration requests of the BUs.
- Implement patching and LCM on time.
- Setting up standby appointments appropriate to the service levels.
- Organize security in accordance with Company policy requirements and processes.
- Implement service agreements and SLAs.
- Organize training and knowledge sessions for users of the platform.
- Make charging agreements and adapt them to changes.
- Attention to team and individual development.

You have:

- HBO / WO work and thinking level.
- Training in IT.
- 5+ years of experience in IT and change projects.
- Demonstrably developed problem-solving ability.
- Demonstrably worked as an Informatica platform specialist, or as an Informatica development engineer, preferably with administrative skills.
- Demonstrable knowledge and skills on Linux infrastructure.
- Knowledge and skills on Cloud (Azure) infrastructure, systems and tools is a big advantage.
- Knowledge and skills on Informatica Cloud products (such as IICS) is a big advantage
- Training in Linux, MS SQL, Oracle, security, network and / or Informatica platform is an advantage.
- Programming / automation skills and experience (scripting such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, CI/CD tooling) is an advantage.
- Knowledge and skills regarding Security and Compliancy is an advantage.
- Knowledge and skills on Cloud (Azure) infrastructure and tools is a an advantage.
- Experience with development in ETL, Data Quality, Metadata Management or Data Management is an advantage, but not required.
- Experience in Agile (Scrum) way of working.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
